Teehee Engineering is proud to construct projects that support our military personnel and their operations. In essence, 100% of our past work has been for the United States Government.
We strive to deliver projects that will construct projects that will contribute to a better quality of life for our U.S. military personnel and provide functional, reliable, and maintainable facilities in which they work and train. in the past three years, we have completed 20 design-build projects under various IDIQ and standalone contracts, exceeding the level of experience of most 8(a) contractors.
$13.4 M Education Center at Vandenberg AFB is complete and ready for classes to begin. The new facility, with room for five colleges, include 20 classrooms, a training and testing area, computer labs, offices and a 75-seat auditorium.
The $8.4M F35A Addition/Alteration Fuel Cell Hangar at Nellis AFB, NV is complete and occupied by the U.S. Air Force. The 12,000 SF, 2-bay F-35A aircraft hangar addition included the construction of a new aircraft parking lot and High-Ex Foam fire suppression system, fire alarm and mass notification system that was the first system of its kind designed and installed for the Air Force.
$8.0 M Multiple Restrooms Renovations upgrades restrooms in Buildings 4, 94, 378, and 472, including new fixtures, finishes, and updates to plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems. Layouts may be adjusted for accessibility. In Building 4, additional work includes replacing doors, windows, siding, lighting, exhaust fans, the water heater, and the second-floor stairway.
$3.1 M Arial Lab Modernization renovates 6,700 square feet of dry lab space on the second floor of Building 606 to support collaborative, data-driven research and innovation in science and engineering. The design includes flexible lab areas for multiple classified projects, collaborative workspaces, and upgraded power, HVAC, and communication systems. Outdated equipment and interior elements will be removed, with new sound-rated walls, doors, and refinished flooring installed.
$1.3 M Guard Shacks and Drop Arms Replacement upgrades security at the 4th Street Gate of NWS Seal Beach, Norco Detachment by replacing two guard shacks with ballistic-rated ones and installing three crash-rated drop arms with sensors, traffic lights, and barriers to prevent vehicle bypass. Existing electrical and security systems will be transferred, and new HVAC and duress alarms will be added.
$1.3 M The project will expand the existing Military Working Dog (MWD) facility at Camp Pendleton’s Building 4161 by adding three new CMU kennels with a standing seam metal roof, built to meet Marine Corps design standards. It includes installing a covered entry between the new and existing kennels for weather protection, constructing an 8-foot CMU wall to reduce noise and visual impact, and preparing the site with permanent utilities to support government-furnished prefabricated kennel units.
